Professional development:

* Born on 30 June 1940 in Vienna.
* Exchange year in the USA in the school year 1956/57.
* Graduation to Dipl. -Ing. of power engineering at the TU Vienna by the end of 1964.
* Industry activity with ELIN (head of high voltage laboratory in Stadlau plant) 1965 until 1968.
* From 1967 on originally side-line teacher at the TGM Institute of Technology in Vienna in the department Electronics (day training and evening training, usually not much exceeding minimum obligation); this activity was exercised until June 2000, however in time priority switching from study-conforming subjects such as "electrical machines" and "power plant construction" in the last ten years almost exclusively to information technology and microprocessor technology.
* Out of the teaching activity arose the composing of several educational books that were also accepted for the national lists of approved textbooks such as:

* from 1968 cooperation in the department responsible for electrical safety standards of ÖVE (Austrian association for electrotechnology), which I was appointed head of in 1970. I was also member of IEEE, but gave this up recently.
* 1974 officially approved consulting engineer for electrotechnology and opening of my office in Vienna. The office was transferred to Bisamberg in 1983.
* I gave up my executive work with ÖVE in 1973, however continued to be responsible for special tasks until the end of 1994, especially responsible for organization of the uppermost committee as well as international standardization tasks. I also have been continuing honorary work as an expert in several technical committees of ÖVE.
* 1977 swearing-in to the court-approved neutral experts. Up to 2003 more than 80 court expertises, in the last years predominantly on the fields of automation technology, erection of powerplants and pertinent project management, especially more delicate cases with high dispute value.
* 1990 to 1995 cooperation in CENELEC in the TC 112 (now TC 99X) working out prEN 50179 (now HD 637 S1) "Electrical power installations exceeding 1 kV AC" as a member of the TC 112 itself as well as of the Working Group 2 and as as a leading member of the Editing Committee; I worked out the complete English text during these years and administered it for the committee work; once I also created a German translation. In 1996 once again I was member of he final German editing group.
* From July 2000 on I discontinued my teaching activity at the TGM, but considerably expanded my activity as a consulting engineer.
